Personal Project

For this project I wanted to design a digital app for handheld devices for the record label Warp Records. They started out as a small record shop that realized it was in a prime position for discovering new artists. Today Warp have a clear online presence and digital output and is considered one of the most pioneering independent labels in the history of music.

The objective became to design an app that was as creative and experimental as the label. I also wanted to add unique function to it, something that was more than just a music player. I came up with the idea to give the app a tool for remixing and a function that connects the user to different geographical places that have a connection to the music. Everything is tied to the 25th anniversary of the company, making 25 playlists for 25 specific locations.
